I loved the fact that I had the whole place to myself, as I would hate to share it with anyone else. The dining area was perfect for my lonely meals, and the washing machine came in handy for washing my tears away.
Oh, and did I mention the magnificent view of the golf course next door?

We had a wonderful stay at a cottage in a great location with beautiful views. the cottage was clean and well-equipped, especially the kitchen. the bedrooms were spacious and the bed was very comfortable. the bathroom was clean with provided towels. the living area was cozy and comfortable. There were three pubs within walking distance, and the area was central for exploring other villages and sightseeing spots. We would definitely recommend Pine Cottage!
Nothing, it was perfect! 😊.

I absolutely adored the charming decor of the cottage, it felt like stepping back in time to a more elegant era. The beautiful wallpaper and vintage furniture created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The common areas were well-maintained and easily accessible for us seniors, with wide hallways and sturdy handrails to assist with mobility.
I would have appreciated better accessibility options for seniors, such as grab bars in the bathrooms or a ramp at the entrance.

This hidden gem blew my mind with its stunning views, super cozy atmosphere, and top-notch facilities. The helpful staff swiftly fixed a minor issue with the hot water, and the convenient key safe and parking made everything a breeze. The well-equipped kitchen, bonus amenities like a DVD player and board games, and nearby pub serving mouthwatering hand-cut chips were the icing on the cake. Can't wait to return and explore the surrounding areas. Wi-fi, off-site car park, cycling, golf course, pets allowed, no smoking on site.

The room at Pine Cottage was absolutely charming! It had a cozy, rustic feel that made us feel right at home. The kids loved the bunk beds, and the master bedroom was so cozy and comfortable.
Personally, I found the lack of a second bathroom a bit inconvenient. But I understand that others might not mind.

We had a fantastic stay at a cozy little cottage in the heart of the Peak District. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding areas, and the view from the outdoor seating area was simply breathtaking. The cottage itself was clean, tidy, and well-equipped, with a kitchen that had everything we needed for cooking. The owners even provided milk in the fridge upon our arrival, which was a nice touch. Despite a few minor inconveniences like low doorways and a confusing heating system, our overall experience was wonderful. The friendly and helpful staff were always available to assist us, and we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. We highly recommend this lovely cottage for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway in the Peak District.

The location of the cottage offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding hills and countryside. Guests can enjoy sitting outside and taking in the peaceful atmosphere. the cottage is equipped with a well-functioning kitchen, complete with a washing machine and four gas hobs. There is also a cozy living room with a fireplace, perfect for relaxing evenings. the friendly staff provided excellent assistance in promptly resolving any issues.
The seating arrangements in the living room were lacking in comfort, with a small and uncomfortable sofa and two dusty chairs.

The room at Pine Cottage in Bakewell was cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. I loved the bathroom with a bath or shower option, perfect for relaxing after a long day of work.
Personally, I found the other bathroom with just a shower a bit small for my liking, but it might still work well for others.
